Stone Restoration
Bring Your Natural Stone Back to Life
Honing, polishing, and sealing for marble, travertine, limestone, and all natural stone surfaces.
Natural Stone Needs Specialized Care
Natural stone is beautiful — but it's also porous, reactive to acids, and prone to scratching. Using the wrong cleaner or technique can permanently etch or dull the surface. Most household cleaners are too acidic for stone.
Our technicians are trained specifically in stone care. We assess your stone type, current finish, and condition before recommending a treatment plan — whether that's a light polish to restore shine, or a full honing process to remove deep scratches and etching.
Stone Types We Restore
Our Process
Stone Assessment
We identify the stone type, current finish (honed vs. polished), and any damage — etching, scratches, lippage, or staining.
Deep Cleaning
pH-neutral stone cleaner removes surface soil and residue before any mechanical work begins.
Honing (if needed)
Diamond abrasive pads remove scratches, etching, and surface damage. We work through progressively finer grits.
Polishing
High-speed polishing compounds bring the stone to your desired finish — from a soft matte to a mirror-like gloss.
Sealing
Penetrating impregnating sealer is applied to protect the stone from staining and moisture intrusion.

Common Questions
Can you remove etching from marble?
Yes — etching (the dull spots left by acidic liquids like wine, juice, or cleaners) can be removed through honing and polishing. The result depends on the depth of the etch.
How often should stone be sealed?
Most natural stone should be sealed every 1–3 years depending on traffic and use. We can test your current sealer and let you know if it's time.
Will polishing make my floor slippery?
A high-gloss polish can increase slip risk on wet floors. We discuss finish options with you and can apply a slip-resistant treatment if needed.
Do you work on stone countertops?
Yes — we restore stone countertops, vanity tops, and shower surrounds in addition to floors.
